I am trying to install a Badger Tac Latch on my 3 AR's. I was able to install it on my DPMS with no issues. Problem is when I tried to install it on both of my Colt AR's I bent the roll pins trying to get them in. Upon examination it appears the Colts have a slightly larger diameter roll pin than others (i.e. DPMS, etc.). My questions are these.....

1. Does anyone have any advice as to how to get these installed on a Colt charging handle?
2. Where can I obtain 2 more roll pins since I have now damaged my other two?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Home depot/Lowes on the roll pins,

And this time before installing the pins, chuck then up in a drill to taper the lead edge of the pin so the pin drives true without binding up in the channel.

Yup, you can usually find roll pins locally and squeezing the leading tip a little can help them go in more easily.  Roll pin holders are the real way to guarantee that they go in easy though.  A little lube could be your friend too.
