I'm working on a new build. I want to put Badger trapezoidal hand guards on it. Has anyone every used these? Who has them in stock? Every dealer i've checked out is out of stock. Anyone ever painted them black? I've ordered a WOA 18" spr mid length gas KG coated black. Will the hand guard cover the middy gas port? Do I need a lo pro gas block for it? Any help form those who know would be greatly appreciated. |
Denny told me that the Badger handguards will be tough to come by for awhile. Apparantly they are being tooled by a different shop now (for Badger) and they haven't finished setting up the tooling. Apparantly the place where Badger got the handguards milled won't release the CAD files and tooling to the new shop. I ended up going with a Larue 12, which I actually like better. It fits over a Larue gas block just fine. |

I don't have mine in front of me (shhhh, I'm at work)... but did you mill the slots? Nice setup. I have a .45 cal pistol build in mind, and was mulling over the configuration... I think we have a winner! Thanks for the inspiration. buckmeister |
