Hello everybody.

I had a day off from work and I spent a good day at the range. I bought 1k Barnaul made 62gr polymer cased ammo and I chronoed 15 shots to get the rough picture from the muzzle velocity of the round. I'd like to share this info with you.



The rig:

- S&W MP15I with .223 chamber, 17" barrel and 1/9" twist (plus all the addition gear & stuff).





The ammo:




LOT: C 12 2010 - 07
- Barnaul made
- Polymer coated case
- 62gr bimetal bullet, lenght 21.6mm or  0.849"
- BC 0.265 (JBM ballistics)
- Powder charge 1.43g or 22.83gr





Chronograph: Shooting Chrony M-1
Temperature: +5 Celsius (+41 Fahrenheit)
