Just like the title. I'm building my own barrel from a blank and was wondering what the torque value is for the barrel extension??? OR Where can I find this info? hinking.gif
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a tacked thread on torque specs. I assume you meant barrel nut?? If yes, then 31 ft/lbs (minimum then align for gas tube, not to exceed 80 ft/lbs.

No, not the barrel nut. The barrel extension. The part that screws onto the back of the barrel which contains the bolt locking lugs. I thought I was using the correct part nomenclature???

If you get it to 100ft-lbs, that will be fine.

Thanks for the responses. WOW!!! 100ft-lbs. That's alot. Maybe that's why it's a -16 thread.
