Here's the pics, any ideas? It's 16" M4 profile, that's about all I know.

With that fake flash hider it might be one of Kurts Kustom Firearms “re-profile” jobs. Kurt can re-profile a barrel, then replace any barrel markings that were removed by the lathe.  It’s odd though that the FSB has the bayo lug, but the FH is a pressed on fake.

ETA: Or.........an old RRA barrel that had the neutered FSB replaced with a bayo-lug equipped FSB. I think by the angle of the barrel just forward of the barrel extension, that it was originally a 16” HBAR that was turned down. I'm not sure of the RRA barrel markings used at the time of the ban.

Quib is right, the barrel has a 45 degree taper to it, not like a factory barrel.  This could be Kurt (KKF), Randall (AR15Barrels.com, or Steve (Adco Firearms), or someone else who I have not spoken to/done business with.

The barrel looks like it has rifle extensions and is not chrome-lined.  Needs to be cleaned as well.

Wonder what the 'L' means on the barrel extension?

thanks for the help guys.

I was kind of thinking that it's a LMT barrel, given the "L" stamp on the extension.
The FSB is not perm-attached, so I'm guessing that this was a ban barrel.

Other than being a tad dirty,
I think this one would be a nice candidate for a 14.5-14.7" cut down/re-crown job.

PFC Kramer..do you have any more info on the LMT/KAC barrels?

Barrel extension is LMT.
Barrel stamping is LMT.

This barrel was certainly made by LMT, but for someone else.
I could go along with it being a KAC postban barrel.
Rock River did pressed on fake A2's like that, but I have not heard or any rock river barrels being sourced to LMT and certainly not in govt profiles.

Yes true but rra arms uses that huge funky sleave with an a2 stuck on it. This one is an actual bored out a2 pressed on. I'm willing to bet the farm its KAC
