Has anyone used a 26" barrel for the AR10 platform? If not is their a particular reason why not?

I am just curious because you hear the bolt gun crowd shooting 1k with guns at least 24 to 30" barrels.

Check out the barrel flex calculator on the lilja precision barrels site. A 24" barrel will flex almost twice as much as a 20" barrel.
