So Im in the process of putting a Troy VTAC Alpha rail on my DDM4 and I have a question. Once I installed the barrel nut and got it pretty close to lining up I visually inspected it and it looks like the gas tube is running straight down the barrel, It looks even inside the upper receiver and I disassemble the BCG and it will slide in and out with ease. With all the tests ive done I should be good to go correct? Ive installed quite a few other rails but they all used their own barrel buts that didnt require lining up the teeth on a standard barrel nut so I want to make sure ive done this one correctly.

Those are the tests that I run to make sure it is aligned correctly. I think you're good to go.

Ok, Im fairly confident that its gonna be ok but I just wanted to make sure that there wasnt something else to check for before I get it back together and something goes wrong.

As long as the BCG moves freely you are good.  Don't forget to pin the gas tube.

Got is all assembled and took it out and put a few mags through it today and it ran flawlessly! Thanks for the help.
