You can open up the inside of the wrench to fit over it. Apparently there's special wrenches for those particular nuts. I'd go with a pipe wrench, and a fresh GI nut. Or sell it as-is before you ruin the parts. Some guys are into the National Match thing. I'm one of said persons into the national match thing. Figured it out, simply i had to slide it on from starting before the float tube rather than trying to get it on from the top of the nut. |
