Im working on my first build and I either need a pinned muzzlebreak or bull barrel. I came across this:
http://www.model1sales.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=369 What is the quality of ER Shaw? Are they reputable? If there is another company someone knows of that is better but still not breaking the bank let me know. I think I am trying to stick with a bull barrel Also Im debating either SS or chrome lined. From my understanding the SS would be more accurate but wear out quicker? |

There are better barrel assemblies out there at that price point if you are going with stainless or Chrome lined. Look around.
I have a Shaw barrel on a 10/22 and it is a pretty good performer, but I can't say that it has anything to do with their performance as far as AR barrels go. I would wait and choose something else, but it is your money and your budget. Either way, welcome aboard. Well informed and well calculated decisions are usually good ones. |

Do you know of any particular companies or have links to some of the better barrel assemblies in the same price range? |
