Or they might be one of the most commonly-produced barrels, which makes them cheaper and easy to get. I use the real-deal M4A1- sometimes with the M203 mounted. Never had any barrels break off at the notch. |

The military wanna-be thing could be said of anyone who buys an AR, whether it's right or wrong. |

You could say that, but when was the last time you heard of guys in the sandbox have their barrels snap in two? The biggest negative to the M4 profile barrels, or any lightweight profile barrel for that matter, are their tendency to heat up quicker under full auto fire (a problem I personally wouldn't encounter). |
