| Dumb question I know but I have 2 POF rifles. 1 i bought 6 years ago and the other 3 yrs ago.I'm trying to figure out if my barrels are chrome lined or Nitrate heat treated. I emailed POF and they toldthe if the barrel looked shiny then it is "probably" chrome lined. Both the barrels look the same to me. Is there a way for me to tell if 1 of the barrels is nitrate heat treated or chrome lined? |
| If their older models, you can try asking Hogan Guns They used to make most of the parts for POF. They had nothing to do with the assembly or anything else, they simply machined most of the parts. I didn't have any luck calling POF or with their customer service. If it's an older POF, you might have some luck calling Hogan. Their customer service is top notch. |
