I am looking for a 20" barrel for mostly coyote hunting and a paper puncher. I have a lot of 223 TAPS which I think are 75 grain. I am looking to spend around the $200ish range. The only thing I've really found is the dpms from midway. What are you're guys opinion with other barrels in that range? I have a lonely DD upper that needs to be finished soon.

I am interested in the same. Though considering the RRA stainless barrel that is $90 more.
What else should I consider? Would rather spend $200 than almost $300.

I bought a Wilson medium weight Air-Gauged Stainless Steel 2"  barrel from J&T who are board sponsors.  It is a 1-8 twist which will handle the 75's and might be what you are looking for.  About $220.  I have not shot mine yet but it should be a good shooter.

I had that DPMS bull barrel long ago. It is HEAVY, but it handled 75 grains like a champ, despite the 1/9 twist. I got rid of that rifle and got an 18" Noveske SPR.

Barrel wise, I'd look at stainless offerings, but not a bull barrel due to weight....Rainier Arms and White Oak Armament are good places to start for a reasonably priced barrel.

ETA - I would seriously reconsider the 20" part...18" is really all you need out to 600 yards, and it will probably perform just fine for what little you'd do past that.  20" is just overkill, IMHO.

Ok I lacked a few details I suppose. I am looking for a stainless barrel. I've decided on a 20" just for looks. No front sight post either.
