A lot of talk about barrels lately, I've really only bought CL or BFH barrels. Looking at Molons thread on accuracy testing and I'm wondering what guys are happy with by way of standard milspec CL 1/7 16 barrels? Seems like Colt has been G2G so I'm curious on DD, Colt, etc etc available easily sourced quality barrels?

My DDV7LW 16" barrel with mid length gas system shoots about 2.5 MOA with M193 loads, a touched up mil-spec trigger and a 1-4 scope prone without a bag or bipod. It's a factory rifle. I'm happy with that.

check out Green Mountain as well, great quality and fair prices. I'm very happy with my 16" 1/8 twist mid length from them. I believe they also supply Colt with barrels.
