Does anyone know how hot will an M4 barrel get after firing some 100 rounds in a short time period?

The question I ask is because I have a lousy Oly bbl which is loosing its parkerizing, leaving various silver spots.
I have repainted the bbl with a matt black spray paint intended for use on exhaust pipes.
The result is absolutely awesome, my barrel now looks like brand new. I also repainted the lower receiver (originally dark grey) so it perfectly match with the upper and barrel.

Wonder if the paint will last long and will withstand barrel heat.

The barrel can get very hot, but so long you did the surface prep correctly it should last well.  There are guys on here with Krylon painted ARs that they say are holding up well.
