Hi all,
I thinking of my next build I would like a 16" light weight - Mid length gas port - chrome lined - 1:9 twist.

It seems CMMG sells a stripped barrel like this but with a 1:7 twist. I would really like this rifle to shoot mostly 55gr ammo. I have read some people shoot 55gr in a 1:7 twist and no problems. But I also read that 1:7 twist is really only good for 62 grain and up.

Do any of you know where I can get the above barrel specs in a 1:9 twist?

What are your thought..if any

A good quality barrel in 1:7 will shoot 55gr just fine.

I shoot 52s in my 1:7 barrels.

Thank's, I think I'll go with the 1:7.
