I'm trying to find out if these are any good I know that there are a few people thet think that at least 300$$$$ should be spent on a scope but I'm not going to spend that unless It's for a remington 700 bolt action. then that's more of a reason to spend that cash for a better scope, for now though I'm just going to kill some ground hogs and paper targets at around hundred yards just looking for input. the guide has a good listing for these Barska scopes ,but I've never heard of them???

Mine is ok - if you don't shoot much past 200 yards.  Gets a little fuzzy after that - maybe just my eyes.

Can't beat the price.  I have one for sale if you are interested.  Email me.

I have one of the mil-dot sniper Barska scopes with illuminated reticle at my store.  It seems to be pretty clear even past 300 yds.  it is a 6-24 mag.  It isn't as clear as my Leupold Mil dot, but for around 200.00 it isn't bad.  I have yet to try it out.  Dealer cost is not far under the 200.00 we are selling it for.  I just wanted to see if we could sell it or not.  Our other cheaper Barskas seem to sell well with no returns so far.

barska optics isn't really worth it's price in my opinion....it's not very clear and the image is distorted at high magnifications

I'm discovering that as well.

I also have the "high-end" Barska mil-dot 6-24 scope and I must admit it's pretty darn good. Price was around $300 and I think it is a better scope for the money than my similarly priced low-end Leupolds. Leupolds are incredibly overpriced and it looks like the Chinese are starting to encroach on their low-end/mid-range with scopes like this new Barska model.

What do you have the Barska mil dot mounted on and how does it perform?
