| Is there such a thing? I need just a basic, bare bones two point sling. Probably what the military would use. I can't seem to find anything on amazon, brownells, etc. They're usually trying to sell me something more complex. Can someone point me in the right direction? |

For a m16a2 you'd be looking for a generic green nylon Web sling. Often called a "parade sling".

Depends what you want to do. I figured you meant the parade sling. Great for an entry into high-power/bullseye/traditional shooting, without having to buy a leather sling (a must if you get serious).
You can get a vcas for under $50 last I checked. That's the current issue usmc sling. Itll do for general tactical type shooting and patrol type stuff. No need to elaborate more, just Google it, plenty of info. |
