Thanks! The secondary hole and groove idea came first, and made better by the use of a small magnet. It may be a single use feature unless you install a lot of them at a manufacturer or shop, but it didn't cost us much to incorporate it, and it seems most people know about the EPS by the magnet assisted install, so it worked out well |

Better get them while they're still offered at introductory prices Quoted:
Damn, I wish I could afford a couple. As usual, the name follows our naming convention, nothing fancy, just does the job of properly describing the product. The BAD-ASS name is a coincidence, (Battle Arms Dev. Ambidextrous Selector Switch), for better or worse, is shortened to BAD-ASS

For that, please stay tuned Oversized pins won't be a line item for us, as the EPS, as designed, are supposed to be easier to push in and pull out, without creating side effects such as incompatibility with the ambidextrous selector lever. Oversized pins run contrary to that design goal, so the standard EPS will not be oversized. That said, there's development under way in precise that direction for one of our partners. A slightly undersized pin will always work with most, if not all in spec upper and lower, an oversized pin may not work with all of them. The ones being developed for this partner are specifically done for their receivers, no decision has been made regarding their being sold separately, though I think there will be enough clamor for it |

We will be shipping more to Rainier Arms today or tomorrow The EPS will be available for purchase on our site later today or early tomorrow as well. Quantity is somewhat constrained for the next couple of weeks, please check with Rainier Arms, if they're out of stock, click on Notify Me |

Ordered, recieved, installed = no issues. I'd never installed a standard set of pins before, but these were easy as pie even for a newbe using nothing more than the simple directions on the back of the bubble pack they came in. I love the fact that thet stick out just a little further than standard pins. Make pushing them in much easier. |
| I just installed one of the BAD enhanced pin sets on my new AR build. My issue was that the pins were wicked tight and very hard to work. The fit between my MI billet upper and AR15Targets billet lower is almost too tight. Unless you were to push the upper down onto the lower, the takedown pin was a major pain to push out and then pull to open up. Forcefully with a bullet or tapping it out with something was the only way to get it started. The pivot pin was almost impossible to push out unless you were to pivot the upper about 20-30 degrees and then you could pop it out. I tried three sets of standard pins from the extra parts had I had with the same results. Not only were the BAD pins easy as hell to install but the solved my problems. Both pins are much easier to pop out and then pull out due to its design. The takedown pin especially. These things are awesome! Definitely getting another set for my next build! |

The bullet guide is large enough to accommodate not only a 5.56mm bullet tip, but a .30cal as well. The purpose is to auto center the bullet's tip or tool, should either be required to push the pins in to give it a start.
Many have marred their receivers because the punch, bullet tip, or whatever tool they happened to have on hand slipped off the pin head while using these devices to push the pin in. Personally I don't mind a scratched receiver, but for some users with expensive or rare receivers, I can appreciate their desire to keep them in good shape |

Rainier Arms should have theirs mid next week AR15news.com review is now available here |

Duffy, I've been a huge fan of the KNS parts kits. They are a super clean, consistently sized, quality option I have on all of my rifles.
How would you say these compare in dimensions to the KNS pins? Can we expect similar sizing and consistency from pin to pin? Awesome freakin' idea on these. |

yep!
I'm not sure about the stock status, if Mike doesn't have any, Rainier Arms should tomorrow or Thursday |
