| Anyone have one? Educate me please! |
| A friend I always shoot with just bought one and installed it on his DDM4..I did notice a difference in muzzle rise compared to the day before. We have another bone stock DDM4 that another friend has and we will see a side by side comparison next time out..So far it seems like a quality product. |

I like it, it does a great job at really helping keep the sights on target. But you can feel, the increase in overpressure over a standard flash suppressor. So there is a noticeable concussion from it? Yes, just slightly. It was more noticeable when seated and zeroing the carbine than when standing. |
| Run an H or H2 buffer with the BattleComp and you will have practically no teeth rattling at all. I ran 150+ rounds in under 3 minutes with a CAR buffer and noticed no increased concussion or teeth rattling - probably because I was smiling the whole time my shots stayed within a 9" plate! ymmv |
| For the Battlecomp owners can you compare the recoil to other brakes you have tried just for recoil? The Videos I see show show a lot of recoil reduction, but that is pretty much the case with every brake I have used and would like to hear something in perspective? Another member tested the sound, and the noise reduction was insignificant, M193 out of a PSC556 brake was 100db and battlecomp was 98db. |

The BattleComp was specifically designed for law enforcement and military applications. The biggest advantage of the BattleComp over other comps is muzzle control with the added benefit of the elimination of sideblast to those standing or shooting adjacent to the BC shooter.
If you are looking for muzzle control only, there many other brakes on the market that provide that feature. Most brakes mentioned on this board give no consideration to those standing around the shooter. The BattleComp practically eliminates muzzle rise, while providing sufficient flash control (compared to an A2), without an increase in noise or concussion. from BCE's website: " The BattleComp offers muzzle control like some of the best brakes on the market, with none of their liabilities. The BattleComp 1.0 is a true tactical compensator specifically designed for military and law enforcement operators who use the AR15 platform for CQB. The BattleComp gives the tactical operator excellent control WITHOUT the excessive concussion and crushing blast produced by most compensators on the market –– with flash comparable to an A2 –– and all in an A2-sized package." |

I rate the Battelcomp to be slightly more effective in recoil reduction and muzzle rise than the FSC556. Standing to the side of both you will notice less concusion out of the Battlecomp. |

I don't find it any louder, but I can feel the pressure difference. |
