I must be going nuts.

I thought a .223 if zeroed at 50 yrds would be dead on again at 300 yrds (the battle sight zero I read here years ago), and shoot high in between the two ranges. (I'm have an aimpoint mounted 2.75 above the barrel center)

But when you punch in the variables in the hornady ballistics calculator, it shows it to drop off at 150 yrds and keeps going down to -24 inches at 300 yrds.

What gives? I'm on shaky ground here And I skert!
