I noticed a shift in my POI after putting it on a 16in. 4150 CMV DD barrel. Will it have any affect on accuracy at long range from the bench?

only one way to find out...
Seems reasonable enough that it could shift your poi consistently and thus still maintain accuracy.

anything attached to your muzzle can affect POI and accuracy. some devices more than others.

I have a Battlecomp on a 5.56 carbine since it was built. Accuracy is no different then any other carbine using the Aimpoint T1. Can't say much about POI shift as I have nothing to reference.

I do have a PRI 6.8 SPC comp and using this with SSA 115 gr. OTM I was still getting under 0.6 MOA at 200 yards.
