Not sure if this is the topic this belongs in, move it if necessary. I found a bayonet in our shed today. It says on it, US M8A1. Can anyone tell me anything about this? Does it have much value?

US M8A1 is the scabbard.. the guard will have what model (M7 etc..) and make (gen cut, imperila, BOC, etc).. value can vary depending on cond.. $10 to $25 is avg..

Okay, that was written on the scabbard so I assumed the blade was the same.

Also, underneath that writing is says PV/H, what does this mean?
