Got a couple of old 20's that must have been dropped on the feed lips, they have a slight bend at the back.  (Guess that's why they reinforced the 30 rounders...)  Loaded, the rounds don't sit up high like they should.

Anyone know of a good tool or method to perform 'corrective surgery'?

The only tool I've found to be useful in correcting bent feed lips is a small crescent wrench.  It takes some knack and is a bit difficult to explain but start small and take your time. It's best to go easy, start as close to the edge of the feed lip as you can and work your way in.  Hope all goes well for you.
