This is a clip out of the vid I have posted in GD from our Missouri shoot yesterday. CMMG hosts the shoot and Jeff and John were kind enough to let me use one of their full auto lowers and a full auto carrier with my new 50 Beowulf. I liked it so much with one mag that I had to try a second one. Vid is about 1.2Mb. Enjoy (I sure did) ![]() 50 Beowulf Auto BTW, their lower had a 6-postition collapsible stock on it. I had it extended about 3 or 4 positions and it did NOT collapse on me. Standard car buffer and spring as far as I know. |
That's probably right. On the second mag I had a jam after 2 or 3 rounds then ran out the rest of the mag. I edited out the first 2 rounds Beta C mag won't work, as the Beo round single stacks in the AR mags. One of the guys on here, (I think maybe PK90 ???) determined that you could use the MWG 90 round drum successfully. I'd love to try that full auto.

I've heard reports of some Beowulf shooters using full auto fire, with MWG 90-rounders which fit about 30 rounds of Beowulf in them. Also, the MGI RRB buffer seems to be very popular with them, for keeping the gun under better control during semi-auto and full-auto firing. |

One of these days I'll have to try one of your MGI buffers twl. Actually, I personally don't think the recoil on the Beo is that bad. I'd say comparible to a 12 ga. and that doesn't bother me. In fact, I kind of like the feel of a gun that punches like it's something more than a 5.56 round. I've never been too recoil sensitive anyway but it would be nice to see how quick a person could get back on target with the big bore and your buffer. |

Nascar, you get the MGI buffer, I have the Enidine buffer and we can see how they differ. The full auto Big Bores are bad ass! V188 let me put my .458 SOCOM on his lower last shoot. Squirt Squirt Baby!!!!!!!! Twl, I still want to a carbon fiber barrel for my .458 SOCOM. Have to wait till the General gets done with school and gets a job in the spring. |
