I decided to go into work Sunday & start my muzzle brake project for my Beowulf.

I have a lot more to do (and some changes) but here's the start.

How did you turn steel to brass?

I think that's just the lighting the picture was taken under, seems to be turn down steel. Do you have any heat treatment plans?
