Hey guys curious about what the best 80% is ??
I currently have an S&W sport but really want to make my self a good rifle as my jeep/ranch/coyote gun
Anything to look out for ? Any decent looking unique lowers?

Anderson doesn't get much love around here, but I've compared 80% lowers from Anderson, Ares, TM, KLM, and JMT, and I give the top score to Anderson. I'll add that there was nothing wrong with any of the others. They are all GTG.

I've ordered several from Ares (including .308) and a couple from Tactical Machining.  No complaints whatsoever.

I've milled 6 Tactical Machining lowers. Awesome quality all have come out perfect.

Just received first ares armor. 308 signiture billet 80% looks like it's gonna be great as long as I do my part

I built one of these. They have some cool engraving options too:

Check out new frontier armory. Get prices on forged and billet models. And they look slick. Just a step above the usual but not  "special" that they command an exorbitant price.

I would NOT buy another lower from Anderson, 80%, finished lower, or complete rifle from them. I bought several 80%'rs, and looked at lowers and rifles. All are machined incorrectly from the initial raw forging set up. If I had a good hi-res camera, I would take some comparison pics.
