| This is my first post, and I apologize in advance if this has been covered before. I did a search and wasn't able to find anything. I recently purchased a Noveske Afghan and am looking for a bore guide. I tried Mike Lucas, but he doesn't make guides for Noveske rifles. What brand of bore guide do you folks consider "the best"? Thanks for the help! |

I am not really sure what the "Best" is, but you might give this one a look... MSTN |

I like Sinclair's the best, but Dewey makes excellent products, too. I like Dewey cleaning rods the best. There's no need to over engineer this thing. $60.00 for a bore guide is a complete waste of money. The Sinclair or the Dewey will run in the vicinity of $20.00. ETA: If you really want to set him up, get him a Sinclair bore guide, a Dewey nylon coated cleaning rod and a Sinclair cleaning link. You can buy all of those and still not spend $60.00. |
