Right now I have several A2 bird cages, and several vortexes they hide the flash just fine so for that purpose they work great.

What I want is a Brake that directs the sound away from the shooter making it much quieter for the shooter.  I would also like it to suppress flash, but noise heard by the shooter is the main issue.  LOL I guess I'll tell you whay I'm asking; my GF does not like getting her hair messed up by shooter muffs, but with ear plugs the sound still bothers her.  I bought her a LMT CQB MRP for Hog Hunting she loves it other than the noise.

Or should I just bite the Bullet and apply for a Class III, and get a can?  Where can I get the paper work to do this if it is the only way to get the noise levels down for her?

Thanks for the help,
Thomas

I could be wrong, but I think, by definition, any muzzle device that reduces audible sound is considered a silencer and requires a tax stamp.  But you already knew girls were expensive.

A muzzle brake will help reduce the recoil/muzzle flip but generally make the gunshot much louder.  Unless I'm mistaken.

I'm not specifically talking about reducing the sound, but heard sound by the shooter.  I don't care how loud it is for ppl next to her I just want it quieter for the shooter.

take a look at the TTI intl brake. A rifle magazine a little while back claimed they were the best ones on the market. They are made in a machine shop about 30 minutes south of me and they guy who runs it is a great guy and they have superior quality parts.
