I'm really new at this and been scoping (get it HA) this site out for awhile and kinda have general idea as to what  I want. I 6.8 SPC For hunting / Target Shooting and I will get reloading my own ammo. My questions to you folks are what are the best sites to go for parts?

What tools kits if any and books do you suggests for a green a horn?

I'm a lefty so I would prefer an upper configured for that where should I look?

I'm the the type of guy where simple is more and I believe I need all the bells and whistles so if you guys could lead me to quality parts for the uppers/lowers/optics/mags etc and I will be a happy camper

Appreciate your time and replies in advanced.

I think you're limited to Stag Arms if you're looking for a left handed AR rifle.

I don't have problems working pistols or shotguns on the range, Believe or not I draw my pistol with my right When I'm on a military range qualifying or shooting my buddies Ar I gett slapped with brass so thats why I'm  asking if anyone knows of any good left hand upper receivers.  Do you believe I should buy a 6.8 Kit and just go from there if so which kit is the best value? Should I piece by piece get these parts together do it that way?
