I am only interested in the drop in style. I want something that breaks like a 1911 and be light, 3-4 lbs., lighter is also fine.
I have seen them from Timney, Wilson, American Trigger, Chip McCormick, etc. I would like to hear some real world reports on these, They all seam about the same price range so that is not an issue. Thanks. |

I have a Jard for a 16" blaster. Had a 1.5# spring in it. I DO NOT recommend that spring. The recoil made me pull 2-3 more shots without thinking lol. Immediately changed it out for the 3#. and love it. It
takes about 30min to install b/c of the adjustment. imo it is OK. but for $100 it is nice. |
| New Wilson single stage TTU. I've got one in a new build and am very pleased with it so far. I can't honestly tell you that I've tried to wear it out or torture test it yet, but it's a drop-in and breaks crisp and clean at around 3-3.5lbs. They're a little expensive, but I'd buy another one based on what I've seen so far. YMMV |

Thanks. Maybe I'm ignorant here so bare with me. By drop-in, you mean a component / unitized FCG? Just add pins, hammer / trigger and the rest are in a package. If so. GSA, RRA and Bill Springfield are not ones you should consider. 458 |

Bill Springfield will turn your stock AR trigger into the nicest thing you pulled for a fraction of the cost. He tuned mine to 4lbs with no slack at all and it breaks nice and crisp. I was very impressed. +1 I have one in my rifle and another inbound for my carbine. He'll adjust the pull to whatever you like (mine are 4.5 lbs, CMP legal) and there is absolutely no creep. Very crisp clean break. Best value in AR triggers at $35 each. He's quick too. |

I was very impressed. +3......Bill currently has my 3rd trigger that he is working over. His work is absolutely the best $35 I have EVER put into any of my rifles. I have a 3 lb. Timney that I really like in my target gun, but I wouldn't ever buy one again. Not that it isn't good, but Bill Springfields work is just as good for $35-$50 depending if you want a 4 lb or 3 lb job. Seriously, as long as Bill is doing triggers, I won't buy ANY after market triggers. |
