Looking for the very best buffer tube kit available. I have a 14.5" Noveske Upper
note: Noveske informed me that for their 14.5" Mid length upper would need an H buffer |

Vltor A5 system. I have 8 of them. None better. From my understanding the a5 system is different from the standard mil spec buffer tube kit with the H buffer. Will this be a problem with the noveske upper? The upper is the N4 Upper not the MUR vltor upper |

While it's not a kit since it doesn't include a spring or buffer, the PWS buffer tube is the best available IMO.

My choice but I run a H2 with my Noveske 14.5" middy.

how is it compared to Rainier Arm's Buffer Tube Kit? Quoted:

No problem at all. It is slightly longer. Uses a different buffer and a rifle size spring. There are lots of advantages. how is it compared to Rainier Arm's Buffer Tube Kit? If you are just talking about quality of manufacture, there are plenty of good ones. While I don't have a rainier one, I wouldn't hesitate to use anything from rainier. The a5 is something different, with a full length rifle spring and a different buffer design it provides for softer shooting system (which means faster follow up shots) and a more reliable system. |

+1 for the VLTOR A5 System I have it on 4 of my 6 rifles and I love it My only concern is that I read somewhere here that the A5 system might not be the right choice for a 14.5 mid length, but all other barrel length is perfect I am leaning towards the A5 system but I'm just afraid of ruining my rifle if it turns out to be bad |

I have the A5 installed on 3 14.5 inch carbine rifles and 1 14.5 inch mid-length rifle. To this day, I have not had an issue with any of them cycling. A buddy of mine also uses an A5 on a mid-length rifle and he hasn't had any issues either. Is it the standard a5 buffer or the a5h0 which is 3.8oz |

Is it really a rifle size spring?? I just replaced my spring with a carbine spring and H2 buffer. Hell I never put the two springs side by side and compared them. |

The A5 tube uses a rifle spring and a buffer that is about 3/4" shorter than a rifle buffer, the A5 is the same amount less(3/4") than a rifle receiver extension, so it has the same travel as a rifle system. have you shot it with the carbine spring/buffer? |

Not yet. Its been sitting in the safe. Who sells just the A5 spring and buffer? I had no idea. |

Vltor also makes a standard reciever extension (not the a5 system), that uses standard carbine spring GS and buffers. Make sure which one you have. Vltor puts big orange stockers on the to be package if it is an A5 system warning you, makes me think you have a regular one as it would be hard to miss. |
