I currently have a bushmaster upper on a spikes tactical lower im building right now. Im searching the web for the best drop in trigger system for a decentlu affordable price($150-$250). I shoot at tactical shooting competitions here in Jacksonville, and am looking for a great trigger with a 4 lb pull. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks a lot!

I have two of the Timney single stage triggers with 4 lb pull.   Very crisp and easy to install.

Anything by Gieselle.  Why?  Because outside of mil-specs, they're the only ones that don't fail.

This is the best trigger for a self defense / precision rifle.  If precision is all you care about, you'll want a lighter trigger pull.

I have both a Chip McCormick and Timney drop in.  Very easy to install and very satisfied with both.  Each is smooth, crisp, and light.  That said, I'll probably put a Wilson in my next build just for comparison.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of these three.

I have a Timney that I like. I am going to try the TTU next. Price tag is up there but I love a good trigger.

I have several Chip McCormicks...easy drop in.   Great trigger.   One trigger has well over 15K pulls with out an issue...except for that one popped primer...never a double...

ETA to add...you have to get the AR 10 trigger in the Timeny to get reliable .mil primer ignitions in the 5.56.   McCormick ignites all primers for me...

I have a Jard adjustable in my varminter AR and I love it.
Decently priced and you can change the weight any time you want with the optional springs.

Many won't consider it as it's not considered by some to be drop in and it's a two stage

Tried quit a few but the Chip McCormick impressed me the most, consistent feel shot after shot, drop in design, full power hammer spring:

^^^^   Chip McCormick assemblies drops in perfectly:

just be sure not to mix up your trigger and hammer (its thicker) pins, instead of using c clips I went with the KNS pins:

installation is done.
