Well if you have carbine tubes that you want to put a fixed stock on the Magpul fixed carbine stock is probably your best bet.  $27ish and is just a hair shorter than A1 length, and almost exactly A1 length with the optional PRS pad

If you're looking for just a good A2 stock kit then RRA is gtg.

If you're looking for a stock that fits the shooter with adjustable cheek hold and shoulder adjustments, then Magpul---don't remember the model.

PRS.  Probably a bit heavy for what the OP is wanting though.

Fixed stock does not resell well. IMHO, I'd go with carbine buffer tube with MP MOE FCS. That way you can slap an adjustable on it anytime you want.
If you're sure you'll never sell this rifle, I'd go ACE or still MP FCS (it IS a fantastic stock). That's all I can recommend since I have no use for (nor experience with) longer stocks.

I am a prior owner of one. Perfect length, decent enough weight to balance the rifle, but that buttplate is slicker than greased snot. I wish (due to the material) they made it more aggressive so it wasn't so slippery in the shoulder.

I've owned a good-quality A2, the MOE Fixed Carbine, and now a MOE Rifle.  My 3 gun rifle has the MOE Rifle stock on it, and I like that quite a bit.

The A2 is a FANTASTIC choice unless you want to run a sling off the side.  Then you're left with 2 choices - 1) figuring out how to mount a QD cup in the side of the stock (done it, not too hard), or using one of those webbing "cups" on the bottom of the stock.  The MOE has attachment points on the side.

The Fixed Carbine is a great stock if the length works for you.  It doesn't work for me.

The PRS has two main downsides - 1) cost and 2) weight.  Other than that, it's popular in 3 gun for a reason.

The new Luth stock looks pretty trick. I messed with one last week at a gun shop.  Buy it from Brownells and it comes with the buffer tube kit included.

A lot of folks don't care for the look of the MOE Rifle.  I think with a slim tube forend, it's one of my favorite looks.

Huge fan of the Magpul fixed MOE stock. I use the full length model on everything with the exception of one 9mm carbine. Magpul makes a fixed stock that slides right on your carbine tube.

I'm in the same boat.

I get to the range and my Magpul CTR collapsible stock immediately goes to full length.  I never shoot it at a setting less than full length.  For me, collapsible simply isn't needed.  May as well reap the rigidity benefit of a fixed stock.

I'm considering the A2 as well as the Magpul MOE Fixed.

If you want ultra lightweight, the Smoke Composites models are excellent.  The Ace ARFX in rifle length is another good choice.  If weight is not an issue, I like Magpul's fixed carbine stock for a shorter LOP. hope that helps - CW

For an intermediate length fixed stock, the MOE fixed carbine stock is solid, and won't break the scales or the bank.

FWIW I'm pretty impressed with my magpul FCS.  It's basically a carbine stock at 3 clicks out which is where I put mine anyways.

I have a Vltor A1 Arm Stock on my Beowulf that I'm extremely happy with. It's my only rifle with a fixed stock. Prior to mounting that guy, the MAGS LLC and the ACE were on my short list. I don't think the Vltor looks as clean as the MAGS or the ACE, but the comfort level is excellent. Cheek weld feels like resting your head on a pillow.

Another vote for the Magpul fixed. It's about the length I was pulling the adjustable stocks out to. Solid, inexpensive, and it works.

The Magpul Fixed Rifle and Fixed Carbine (with butt pad extender installed) are both great but take a good look at the RRA Operator rifle stock. Great cheek weld and a very nice feel overall.

Magpul MOE rifle stock for sure.  Better than an A2 in every way, and not expensive.  It can be either A1 or A2 length depending on which buttpad you use (I use an extended PRS pad on it for A2 length), it has provision for side swivels, and it has better storage than the A2.  Also it doesn't need a spacer on the back of the rifle buffer tube like an A2.

One thing about Magpul, they do not gouge you on their prices.  All of their stuff is very fairly priced.

Awhile back I was building one and thinking to myself, I never move the stock, or if I do it's to
collapse it and then back to my usual position, which is an inch or two or something.
So I tried the magpul fixed carbine stock, very pleased, cheap, solid, perfect length
after the thick end cap.  Pretty light too.  I'd like to try the rifle stock version one day.

I would go A1 stubby from RR......I would stay away from large, precision type stocks like the Luth-Ar and Carbon fiber club foot style if you plan on 3 gunning.

Look in the EE for A1 or A2 stocks.  They are mostly take offs from new purchase's and most come with all the hardware and buffer.  Should be around $60-85
