What is the best trigger out there for the AR? Something real light for varminting. I've tried a Jewell and was not pleased. I'd like a two stage as well.

What didn't you like about the Jewell?

Anyway, for a single stage - JP Enterprises
Two-stage - Besides the Jewell, RRA

It wouldn't work in my brand new Bushmaster. The disconnector wouldn't engage so the hammer caught on the firing pin every time the bolt went forward after firing. The Jewell people told me to increase the second stage weight to 1.25-1.5lb. Did that, still the same. Turned it up as high as it would go, still the same.

I paid $200 for a trigger that would go down to "onces" only to find out they really meant a pound and a half...

What kind of experience do you have with the Rock River trigger?  Has anyone tried the JARD Inc. Single stage? They claim 4 different adjustments.  www.jardinc.com

There listed in Brownells around $105

I tried a JP trigger this weekend.  Single stage, broke at 2lbs.  It was really sweet.  I'm planning on that trigger for my current build project.
