I have a brand new 100rd. 9mm Beta mag for the Colt style system and I have one issue with it. On the last round the shell ejects after firing and the bolt does not "slide " right over the dummy round. It grabs the dummy round and tears aluminum right off like a hot knife in butter causing it to stop. It leaves a nasty burr on the dummy round. I have filed it smooth again but it keeps occuring. I have modified the dummy round on the rear of it to give it more of a angle that was on it and it's a little better.

Anyone else have this problems with their setups in Colt style 9mm?

Info on the setup:
J&T 9mm Upper/Bolt
RRA Mag block (type that has a set screw in bottom that pushes pins into the sides of the magwell)

Yeah what I do is I bought a few 9mm dummy rounds and put them in the Beta-C drum. I would put in at least 3 dummy rounds to protect the drum. Make sure you use all metal dummy rounds, very important. If you use plastic dummy rounds, they will melt. I bought my dummy rounds from Brownells.

Thanks...I am reloading out in the garage this week anyhow so I'll make up some dummies! I'll just have to retrieve them when the shell is manually ejected.

I wish I could get to the last round with my 9mm AR15 Beta mag.  That thing jams so many times, I gave up on it before getting to that point.

Try running your magwell adapters all the way down.
