[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bipod

What is a good CHEAP bipod that I can use for benchshooting and sighting in. No other need for it so I want something cheap but that is somewhat good quality/steady.

It really depends on how you define 'cheap'

I picked up a Harris for around $75 from a local shop. But if you are looking for the cheap, cheap route -- sand bag it.

i would sand bag as well if you are just going to use it for sighting in.

Thanks - that is what I was thinking too.

If I paint it black - will it be a tactical sandbag?

I wouldn't paint it black, but if you really wanting an uber tactical sandbag, get some stencils and spray paint the word "Tactical" on the side. Thats how Springfield does it.

Also, shhhh! That was a Top Secret Project. You're gonna get me shot if you're not careful.

You also have to charge twice the price for a tactical sandbag.
