Great Site, I'm learning more and more, everyday.
I'm looking fo a bipod for my new AR and would like to know more about the heights of the different bipods I'm reading about here. Where are the measurements taken from? Ground to Barrel? Ground to mount point? Length of legs? etc. Do all manufacturers use the same standard for measurement? Thanks.

Hollow Point,

I do not know the heights off hand, but I can tell you this, when mounted to a rail forearm, the Harris 6"-9" is too short and the 9" to 13" is just right (for me) when shooting from a bench.

The 6" to 9" may be good in some situations when a real short compact set up is needed, but it did not work for me-bench shootig.

Thanks,

6" to 9" Harris bipod works great for me off the bench.

Ditto above comments, the Harris BRM-S (6-9") works off the bench or from the prone position just fine for me.
