I've seen some bipods on rifles with sights that do not magnify, ie EOtech, Aimpoint, and I was wondering if anyone found them more or less helpful, if so post a reason/ maybe a pic, I would like to hear some reviews on this.

I use a bipod to zero my BUIS's.

I just prefer the bipod to a sandbag.

Bipod gives you more control on bench or when prone.  The M249 SAW has a bipod and no magnification (iron sights).  Of course now some have ACOGS whatever on them.  I dont have a bipod on my M4gery and I have Aimpiont w/ 3X monocal mainly because its heavy enough and I intend to sling it.  I will however be putting a bipod on my M14 because it will be for more of the reach out and touch someone variety.  My M4gery is more CQB.

Depends on what you want to do with it, and heck its yours do what you want.

+1 for zeroing irons at the range
