Good choice, I have bushy M4A3 14.5 inch barrel with pinned suppressor (to meet the 16" barrel minimum.

You are a lucky man. I think I am topped out at 1 AR for the rest of my life.

Bushmaster has a good reputation. Should be fine!

Nice choice, and more importantly, nice wife! Mine pulled a similar move though not quite to that level. I couldnt decide between a Mega and Noveski lower for my B-day, so she got both! God bless em.

You seem satisfied with your AK, well a gas piston AR might be right up your alley.

Is there something wrong with the AR how it is ? Why change to a gas piston ? Can I convert later is I want ?

Nothing wrong with the AR as is. Bushy is a good choice. Used a Bushy lower and LMT upper on my 14.5" SBR..runs like a top!

Y'know, if you're only getting the one, a Colt 6920 would be everything you'll ever need and I feel you'd only be pleased aside from the initial outlay of funds.  Nothing wrong with Bushmaster IMHO either.

jcrowl: Absolutely stunning!!!

Nothing is wrong with the current crop of AR's. It's just the gas piston is the latest high tech, hi speed/low drag must have goody.

My Bushy 14.5 A3 runs just fine. Spend the $$ for the piston on mags and ammo.

You must have been good this year.

The Bushmaster 16" should do you just fine.  Also, put in for 4 Magpul P-mag 30rd magazines too.
