Does anyone know where I could buy or get specifications for a Blank Fire Adapter for an AK74 style muzzle brake?

If you have a pre ban then you should be able to order a BFA from any good AK parts store.  If you have a post ban then the only thing you can do is thread the inside of the barrel and put in a screw.  Not a fun thing to do, but the Vietnam and  WW2 Reenactors have gotten quite good with it as they dont wish to ruin the "Look" of their reenactments by having BFA's.  Personaly I want to be able to see that the guy shooting at me is fireing blanks.

Edited to add:  "Is there some compelling reason that you posted this in the AR side of the house?"

Yes because the AK74 type muzzle brake is on my bushmaster XM-15E2S (postban), I picked up some blanks at a gun show for kicks. I'm thinking of manufacturing my own screw type, I would hate to scratch my bushmaster by threading it.

Thanks for the info.

I missunderstood your question.  If you have an AK break on an AR there is no way to blank adapt it other than to drill the barrel.

On an AK the break unscrews and the BFA replaces it.
