Does anyone with the newest version of the UDC know why the extra male end was added to the sling? All of the pictures that I can find on the UDC are of the earlier version and I have no pic to explain where the extra male end is mounted. Those of you with the extra male end know what I am talking about. I even e-mailed Blue Force Gear, but did not get a reply. Any ideas would be helpful.

So your sling has three male adapters on it? If it looks like this one: http://blueforcegear.com/prodImg/SOC-C-CB%20-%20800.jpg it looks like you actually got a SOC sling instead? If that is indeed what you have, it is for configuring it for 2 and 3 point use.
