I have a new in wrapper bolt from some years ago. Don't remember where I got it. No markings on the wrapper, just that brown, waxy, preservative paper wrap.
The bolt has a very small " ce " mark stamped on the side, on the smooth space behind the lugs. Any idea of the manufacturer or details? |

I've had it for years, just going through my parts bin to see what I had. I likely picked it up at a gun show somewhere along the line.
That's why I'm trying to ID it. I wouldn't call it questionable, I have several running frankengun AR's with many rounds and unmarked bolts. Someone manufactured it to be used. I probably wouldn't put it in a duty gun I would trust my life to but I'm sure it wouldn't cause a problem in a range gun. |

DPMS then. DPMS carriers are sometimes marked TC = Tompson Center. They sometimes come with bolts marked CE. Regardless, where did you get the bolt OP? I wouldn't run a questionable bolt. Are you just making this stuff up as you go? Thompson Center (bought out by S&W in 2007) does not manufacturer AR15 components. A bolt or bolt carrier marked TC is manufactured by TOOLCRAFT.. Toolcraft and Microbest are two of the bigger bolt and bolt carrier manufacturers in the USA. |
