Pulled a BC Unit out of a Colt Upper and the bolt is marked MPYC
Anybody ever seen or have info on this?
It's new to me. THX

The Y has something to do with when it was made.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge of when will be by shortly.

You have a Colt bolt made in August of 1997. For a time Colt was putting date codes on their bolts. They stopped doing that quite awhile ago.
