I just bought a colt sp1 upper and need to know if it matters what brand bolt and carrier I use does it have to be colt or will a bushmaster or oly arms or other brand work? Mabey a dumb question but I hate to order one and it not work. Thanks |

Slidestop is right. Any properly made bolt and carrier will work. On the other hand, if you're going to use this upper on a Colt lower, you might want to use Colt bolt/carrier parts just to keep it "pure"[:D] If you're putting the upper on another brand lower, don't guess it much matters, but you're going to need adapter pieces from Bushmaster to match up the front hole in the SP1 upper with your lower. |
