Hi...question is, if your bolt breaks, is it a simple replacement, or do you have to deal with headspacing?  Seems like headspacing would be required...don't know enough about that to be smart, but seems like broken bolt means a trip to smith/armorer, right? v/r Walt K

Apologize if this post is in wrong section; 7.62x39 discussion made me curious.

You just replace the bolt but should check head space to make sure its still good with the new bolt.  End user can't change the headspace on ARs.  99.% head space is OK but it is still recommended to check anytime you replace the bolt.  In the rare event it doesn't headspace correctly try another bolt.  If you can;t get it to work then a new barrel is needed.
