| How critical is the BCB on a LPK? One of my three kits had them, and two did not? |

The bolt catch buffer is needed as it is an important part of the function of the rifle. Kinda like wheels on a car. Figured they were.... I guess I will have to find two of them...any suggestions? Here once they get back in stock. Thats just the first place I looked so there may be many other places that sell lower parts also. |

It's more like a car door, it will work just fine with out it, but you're better off having one. The AR will work just fine without the bolt catch spring plunger but the bolt catch won't work right(or work when it's not supposed to, due to there being no spring tension on it). |

What the hell is a "bolt catch buffer"?? This is a new one for me! The little detent that looks like a peg. goes in the lower receiver. under the bolt ctach. To the OP yes it is needed. Not enough tension just with the spring in there( actually I don't think the bolt catch will contact the spring without it. ) |
