Can anyone recommend a good "build an AR" book(s)?

My wife's got a credit with Amazon...and I'd like to do some damage with it. Hell, I'll look around my library too.

Get into reloading and blow that book money there instead.  ;)

The AR is really just too simple to build and there's way too many pdfs/guides on the internet to go out and buy a book on it that you'll use maybe 3 times.

I just got Kuleck's "Complete AR Assembly Guide".    Have only thumbed through it but it appears to be pretty much what I was looking for....ie.  a book to lead me through my build.   He's got another book as well which I believe goes more into the history and operation of the AR.
Cheers,

Ok, great!

I've sometimes seen guys make references to a tool of some sort. I've seen them in magazines but cannot remember the name.
Do I need one?

Duncan Long wrote one awhile back. I also rec. the AGI tapes on building an AR-15 from a kit. Very informative to the newby.

"The Complete AR-15 Sourcebook"

Granted, like any other subject the info is all out there on the net.  You just save the time of trying to track it all down.

"The Black Rifle I and II" also come to mind.
