What does everyone use for a non-teflon bore lubricant?

(Or does anyone really worry about teflon in the bore?)

I don’t sweat the teflon. I use Break-free Bore Cleaning Foam as a copper remover and BF CLP for standard cleanings.

Gunzilla ™ BC-10 is a patent pending formula designed to clean, lubricate and protect all in one formula. Gunzilla performs best when no other cleaners, oils or preservatives are used. Gunzilla BC-10 was developed to reduce weapon malfunctions for soldiers and law enforcement. It is also formulated to remove the hazardous chemical exposure associated with many gun cleaners. Gunzilla is made from plants and contains no water and no petroleum. It is safer and more effective than most gun cleaners, and can be used on everything from small handguns and high powered automatic weapons to 16" guns.

Ya know, I like Gunzilla too, but the marketing piece you've dropped here is not really what he's looking for I don't think. Bottom line, CLP (choose your version here, lots of folks like Breakfree, others Slip 2000, still others Gunzilla) is a good choice for cleaning your barrel as it will do just fine with or without Teflon.

The foaming bore cleaner is great stuff and I like to use that, run a patch through to get the copper and stuff out, then spray with brake cleaner, let dry, then run a patch of CLP down the barrel and I leave it at that. I don't run a dry patch through as I want there to be a good layer of CLP in the barrel. Others will run a dry patch through, but I run the inside of my AR wet and have not had a single failure with that policy.

CLP (choose one) is fine, Teflon is nothing to sweat.

I just started using "Weapon Shield CLP" before that I used FP-10.

Weapon Shield cleans better than fp-10 and appears to protect from rust a bit better as well.

both lubes are non teflon.

I also use TW-25B on rails of pistols or sometines my m1a and that is like 200% teflon.
