is it ok to clean bolt carrier with BORE CLEAN SPRAY? I sprayed bore clean all over my bolt to clean out all the greasy stuff and oil. I don't know if it is good for my bolt carrier. please help. thanks in advance |

Yes it is fine. I have used many kinds of bore cleaners to clean the whole gun. Just make sure to dry 100% then oil well. Don't use stuff like Sweets or really strong ammonia solvents as they can eat the steel if left on to long. Stuff like Hoppes, Butches Bore Shine, Outers bore solvent, Gun Scrubber are fine. Some do eat plastic and wood so be careful what you get it on. |
