I received my Colt 6940CK upper from Botach yesterday. The upper is in very good condition and well lubed, except for a shiny nick in the upper rail. Staking looked good as well. The upper mounted smoothly on my DPMS lower with a slight rattle when vigorously shaken.
What really impressed me was the quality Colt packaging. The blue cardboard box is quality with a nice gold foil logo. The foam interior was nicely cut out to upper's shape. Also included are three rubber rail guards, a 6940 manual and a glossy brochure on fitting to lowers along with an adapter for a large pin Colt lowers. Botach did their part too - seven days in shipping after I was charged. Everything in their ad was included (which is a pleasant surprise from Botach). We'll have to see how she shoots, but I am impressed so far. Since no one else has commented yet on these kits, I thought I'd give a short review. http://www.grandgeorge.com/images/Colt6940CKKit.jpg |

Use caution when dealing with Botach. I have ordered from Botach a few times and I have only had one problem with them. I ordered some boots that were on clearance and they didn't notify for about a week that the item was no longer available. I always use the name of my corporation when I order. I am wondering if they take orders from companies and LE more seriously. I ordered my 6940 upper on 9/12 and it arrived on 10/15. I was notified that the upper wouldn't be here until at least the first week of October, so it wasn't a big deal to me. It arrived in perfect condition. Some of my less expensive orders arrived days after ordering. They have been a good resource as far as pricing goes. I am happy with all of my purchases from them so far. It is a pain trying to actually call them and get CS, but they have eventually resolved whatever issues I had. |

Mine was perfect, no dings/scratches, well oiled, and the packaging was nice, it felt like Christmas
